At first I thought you posted that video in the wrong forum. But then, I got it.
Everything looks so good, though, could have posted in the other one

Sadly, Noem can only be fired once as the Secretary of DHS.

He really really really doesn't like it when people make a grift money off his own back.

President Donald Trump has peppered aides in recent days about whether longtime adviser Corey Lewandowski profited personally from a $220 million federal advertising campaign featuring Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, who was fired last week, according to three people familiar with his conversations.

“He’s mentioned the ads several times,” a senior White House official said, referring to Trump asking questions about Lewandowski’s role in the ad contract.

Reuters: Trump says white South Africans are persecuted; some are returning to a better life

JOHANNESBURG, March 11 (Reuters) - Andrew Veitch left South Africa after being held up at gunpoint in his car. But now he feels there are greater threats in the United States, he said, citing mass shootings in public places as well as violence by U.S. immigration officers.

"People are being shot in broad daylight. American citizens are being shot and killed," said ‌the 53-year-old, who moved to California in 2003. "I don't want to live in a place like this."

President Donald Trump's officials have said Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers were justified in firing the shots that killed two U.S. citizens in January, although video evidence has contradicted their accounts.

Veitch plans to return to South Africa this year, one of thousands of white South Africans coming back, despite Trump's statements that the white minority is being persecuted by the country's Black majority government.

A member of my family approached passport control carrying a valid United States passport, the document generations of Americans trusted as proof that returning home remained a routine act inside a constitutional republic.

Five hours later a federal officer made clear that the document meant nothing and left behind a cloud of future threat hanging over every trip that might follow.

An officer abruptly confiscated the traveler’s phone without explanation and directed movement through a door marked secondary inspection into an enclosed room where federal scrutiny replaced the ordinary rhythms of civilian life. Agents retained the device for hours with messages and photographs becoming material for government examination and retention.

Questioning returned repeatedly to one subject: travel to Palestine, even though the passport already recorded the full history of international movement. The passenger had never been to Palestine.

A surprise release followed five hours later. The traveler asked the only question that mattered: WHY? A CBP officer repeated the warning that explanation would arrive only when authorities decided explanation became necessary.

And on the other side of Trump's border wall fence

This doctor treated migrants’ severe injuries at the US-Mexico wall: ‘Political decisions made it as violent as possible’

n late spring 2024, Dr Brian Elmore was working out of a mobile clinic, providing medical treatment to migrants in Ciudad Juárez, just south of the US-Mexico border wall. One of his patients, a Venezuelan man with a fractured arm and a detached left chest from his sternum and clavicle, told Elmore that Mexican immigration officials broke his arm when he first got to town, and that rubber bullets fired by Texas national guardsmen had caused his chest injuries.

The man somehow had managed to fashion a shoddily made splint for his arm, but his chest would require surgery. When an ambulance arrived, the criminal group that controlled the riverine area refused to let him leave. The Texas guardsmen looked on from the US side of the river. “It was heartbreaking,” Elmore said of the spectacle.

A bit of a sideshow now, but...uh oh.

More than a year ago, The GEO Group founder George Zoley asked for a meeting with Corey Lewandowski, a close ally of President Donald Trump who had just started a powerful position as a top adviser to Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem.

As a titan of the private prison industry, GEO Group stood to benefit from Trump’s mass deportation agenda, which would require the federal government to spend tens of billions of dollars to transport, detain, monitor and deport undocumented immigrants. The company’s federal contracts in those areas already totaled more than $1 billion per year.
But Zoley and his advisers were worried that the road to securing new government contracts now ran through Lewandowski. The two had history: Lewandowski and Zoley had butted heads during the transition between Trump’s November 2024 election and his January 2025 inauguration, before Lewandowski officially worked for the government, according to two industry sources and one senior DHS official familiar with the matter.

During the transition, Lewandowski told Zoley that he wanted to be paid in exchange for protecting and growing GEO Group’s DHS contracts, according to a senior DHS official and three people familiar with their discussion.
I guess I don't have wonder how Lewandowski survived as an unpaid “special government employee” at DHS.

On the USS Abraham Lincoln, somewhere in the Arabian Sea, US Navy Aviation Ordnanceman Airman Jessica Martinez is handling the missiles and armaments of an aircraft carrier at war. She is twenty-something years old, Californian, the daughter of immigrants from Mexico. She joined the Navy in part because service would give her father the chance to apply for a protection program that could shield him from deportation while he pursued legal residency.

On the same day Jessica deployed to the Middle East, her father was deported.

Humberto Martinez was pulled over by federal agents in January and driven south across the border to Tijuana the same day. His daughter’s ship sailed east toward a war zone. His younger daughter Ana, nineteen, a student at Cal State Fullerton, was left to hold the family together alone.

The chickens may be turning back home to find a roosting spot.

DHS internal watchdog launches investigation into handling of contracts under Noem, Lewandowski
The Department of Homeland Security inspector general has launched a sprawling investigation into how contracts have been solicited and handled, including the involvement of former Secretary Kristi Noem and her de facto chief of staff Corey Lewandowski, according to two sources familiar with the probe.

Noem’s handling of contracts within DHS was one of the main catalysts for her ouster by President Donald Trump earlier this month. Lewandowski’s micromanagement of the department, including his involvement in contracts, was a persistent source of tension with White House officials, CNN has reported.
The question is, just how "made" Lewandowski and Noem are in the Trump syndicate.
The Office of the Inspector General previously announced an audit into DHS grants and contracts awarded “by any means other than full and open competition during fiscal year 2025,” according to its website. The inspector general, Joseph Cuffari, complained to Congress in early March that DHS leadership had been obstructing some of his work.

One of the sources familiar with the issue said the IG investigation that includes Noem and Lewandowski is separate from the previously announced audit. The source said investigators had ordered dozens of DHS officials to preserve records as part of the new probe.
