My first trip to visit my folks since covid started was over the 4th of July weekend.
Dad's insufferably FOX-addled brain is deteriorating swiftly... if I can't change the subject to something non-political I leave the room, and I stay in another part of the house while he gets his daily download of mental destabilizing propaganda.
I err'd though. I was passing by the den when I saw Lester Holt on the tv and figured, 'well that should be safe enough', so I went in and settled into a chair.
NOPE.
It was F*cker Carlson using a clip of Holt interviewing Harris. F*cker bumbled around his typical "Doesn't it seem like..." "Makes you think!" "why isn't it..." non-statement bs trying to create some narrative about "Why is no one talking... doesn't it seem like, don't you think that ... Kamala Harris ALWAYS laughs *HYSTERICALLY* to deflect 'Difficult Questions'? What's up with that? Why's no one reporting this?" blah blah F*cking blah.
He even played a montage of Harris laughing. Twice I think. Half of the montage was Harris laughing while talking to comedienne Ellen DeGeneres. Queen of the soft-ball questions... but hey, Fox-fans *haaate* 'Ellen Degenerate!' so any shared screen time with her is extra damning.
He went on for 15 soul-rending minutes mud-slinging, muck-raking, being the slimiest shittiest little trolling turd think I've ever seen.
Turned to my dad as I finally had enough and left the room "He spent the last 15 minutes trying to demonstrate something that even his own out-of-context crafted video completely failed to support. Why do you watch this ridiculous bullshit?
