As I've said before on this thread, Tucker isn't stupid, he's evil. I think he's genuinely conservative and not compassionate enough to be left at all; but there is a very clear gap between what he says and what he believes. It's very telling he had to buy a bible because he likely hadn't owned one in a long time if ever. HIs expressions in that video made me wonder if he felt dirty pretending to be this stupid.
Anyone with common sense would laugh at this story. A dog scratched him while he had a bad dream or sleep paralysis. ...except it probably wasn't even that. I bet the whole story is made up. It immediately makes me think of how Russell Brand started selling bullshit magical amulets shortly after his alleged conversation to Christianity. Rightly or wrongly, these conmen just view Christians as a very easy mark.
I'm willing to bet Tucker wishes he could be the leader of a more serious, secular, but right leaning group of "intellectuals" but knows he has to cater to dumbasses since that is most of the right by far and what his current viewers expect of him.
