Close! Thanks to Renault in Brazil, where Dungeons and Dragons cartoon was a cultural phenomenon and called Dragon's Cavern, live action is being use din a series of commercials.
Uni can be seen in the thumbnail at the start here but that's all you get of Uni :
Just how much money was put into this? Seems quite a lot based on all the stuff involved (horses, explosions, locations etc) in this behind the scenes teaser. Also notice the poster on the wall is the same shot as the thumbnail for the above video but sans Uni.

Not the first time a cartoon was brought to life for a car advertisement. Peugot did it a few years back with Wacky Races but it seems to have been just one commercial,
