We saw the Heritage Foundation / C-Street cabal testing the limits under Bush Jr, where they perfected the "Mindwipe" tactic: "So Much So Awful So Fast" that the news cycle creates a new different outrage so often that it's hard to get traction opposing those that were in last week's news cycle.

Trump's where he is because his barrage of non-binding oft-reversed empty schoolyard name calling and posturing keeps the news cycle filled enough that people can't concentrate on any one 'worst thing' (other than the mysterious likely ambiguous difficult to corroborate contents of the Epstein Files).

It's not that 'young people' are learning from this... young people acclimate to just about anything. It's that some of the young soulless immoral talent is getting on board with the dynamo that's perpetuating this systemic undermining of our three branches of government. There are still limits, and consequences, but they're no longer imposed by a democratically elected representative government... they're set and imposed by a coalition of extremely well funded behind the scenes mega-wealthy influencers impacting elections, bribing supreme court justices, writing legislation for rubberstamp wielding representatives and ensuring the 'right' dominates the media messaging even on formerly 'centerist' platforms.

Obscene wealth is turning into a black hole, and our American 'Life Liberty and Justice' have already slid past the event horizon. The only thing I see able to derail us from the path we're on is some kind of scarcity destroying technological revolution. Like super cheap/durable building materials and completely decentralized reliable food & power production. Either of which will likely be crushed under the massive foot of extreme legislation/corporate-written regulations to prevent it from undermining their profits and control.

Even from a layman's view, it's hardly a risky prediction. I mean it's really obvious Trump isn't a well man.

Whether or not this specific prediction is true, I'm curious how the perception of it will ripple through the political sphere. And if Trump does die or collapse to the point he can no longer continue his current facade of playing president, the ensuing power struggles should be epic. JD Vance is not a cult leader. It will be difficult for him to get the same unquestioning loyalty of the rabid base. More importantly, how cowed is the Republican Congress of him?
