Okay, so if you listen to the clip, the laughter suggests it may have been a joke... so it's not quite THAT stupid. But it was still stupid given she was bragging about how efficient FEMA has become without being tested on a disaster.

Yeah, I'm pissed off with Australia as well.
But we had to get rid of the right, and vote for the left and went gung-ho on the left.

The fact that a total lunatic was EVER allowed on the GOP ballot in the first place is an indictment of a substantial portion of our population.

The fact that we are too weak and divided to remove him from office after the most egregious corruption and lawlessness is a symptom of a rot far deeper than I had realized.

The chances of removing him in a non-violent and peaceful/legal manner have always been on the slim-to-bordering-on-none side and being honest ... Who's going to be the one to begin?

Personally, its frustrating as fuck because before the election, my endless fucking depression felt like it was actually maybe going away. I was starting to give a shit about doing things again.

And its all gone again.

The endless fucking crisis mindset is fucking exhausting.

Manbaby finally got a peace price by his buddy Infantino: Donald Trump has been named the first winner of the newly created Fifa peace prize, claiming “the world is a safer place now” as he received the award at the draw for the 2026 World Cup in Washington DC.

Gianni Infantino, the Fifa president and one of Trump’s closest sporting allies, presented the honour onstage at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts on Friday, saying Trump had been selected “in recognition of his exceptional and extraordinary actions to promote peace and unity around the world”.
“This is your prize, this is your peace prize,” Infantino said, after Trump took the stage to accept the trophy, a medal and certificate. “There is also a beautiful medal for you that you can wear everywhere you want to go.”

Fifa says the prize is for “individuals who help unite people in peace through unwavering commitment and special actions”. The governing body has not disclosed details of the selection process, although a Guardian investigation found that a new “social responsibility” committee chaired by the controversial Myanmar tycoon Zaw Zaw will propose the process for future awards.


Some consider it a farce.

It's the latest twist in a seesaw court battle over who controls the U.S. Institute of Peace, a nonprofit think tank that focuses on peace initiatives. It was an early target of the Department of Government Efficiency this year.

On Wednesday, the State Department said it renamed the organization to the Donald J. Trump Institute of Peace to "reflect the greatest dealmaker in our nation's history." The new name could be seen on its building, which is near the State Department.
