When I see all of this happening in plain sight and people still fucking defend it, I feel like I am losing my fucking mind.

That's how I feel whenever I try to explain anything about politics to some of my older relatives... Many of the same people really think Trump and Bibi are great leaders as if all their evil wasn't in plain sight.

I do feel Israeli nationalism is a bit different from MAGA in a few ways. Most MAGA defenders are dumb as rocks, where as a lot of Israeli defenders seem a lot less stupid, but are just totally in love with an idealized version of Israel that is just not real.

Massie is not going down without a fight though. He still has 7 months left to fight, and the crowd at his concession event were enthusiastically supportive of him. He even got in a few digs, including that he was sorry he was late but it took him awhile to find his opponent in Tel Aviv to concede.
