I had a pumpkin and some decormover in Duncan's Brae. I think that's the name of my region. So apparently we are not neighbors. So the hunt has started.
I scanned at least a dozen sims with the result of 1 (read one) pumpkin found. The one I put out my self.
Not even one other house to be found with some Halloween decoration.
That ends my hunt
I have found 90....because the people in Bellisseria Citizens most certainly ARE sharing locations and lists. Seriously, the most community-minded Bellisserians aren't really competing. I mean they were telling how many they had but also sharing lists and locations as they are found. I figure most Bellisserians are hoping LL changes their mind in the future and gives everyone all the bears. I Bellipin'd mine in Otisburg and Melville Deep, so get the Free BelliFind HUD, head to Otisberg and Melville Deep and you'll find them. You know what the rel biggest issue of this being a competition is? It discourages community. It's in "my best interests" to not make a list of buckets to share. Because that encourages "the competition" ie "the community" to work against me.
Most Bellisserians don't care that much about people outside their houses on the porches/yards/walkways inside the property lines and whatnot...and that's where they are putting them. There are even a few people who put them in the house and show off their interior decorations. There's a segment of the Bellisseria Community that LIKES showing off their homes and has an open door policy. While I generally don't have an open door policy yet in Bellisseria, the locks on my Linden Homes are set to myself and my alt (who is the owner of the Trad). I don't mind people in my yard, don't use orb security, and if some Belli community regular I know said knock/knock, I'd let them in.... well they forgot an incentive to put them out. "Put these out and have randos wandering into your parcel." leads to one reaction: "Why should I?"
Man, I thought I was doing good with my 20, I need to stop up my game.I have found 90....because the people in Bellisseria Citizens most certainly ARE sharing locations and lists. Seriously, the most community-minded Bellisserians aren't really competing.

I don't remember seeing it.
Patch who likes to complicate stuff said:Please be sure to collect your Skelly Bear prize by Sunday, November 14th, 2021. The kiosks will be removed at that time.
Probably not due to the experiences requirement.Maybe next year LL will do one that everyone can put a candy bowl out for and make it grid wide for those who want to participate. No one trick or treated my house that I know of this year. Or last year. Or the year before. Or the year before... I must be some kind of mean and hateful without knowing it and everyone is too scared(?) of me to tell me anything. I just don't understand any of it. I don't understand why I'm always getting shoved out into the cold.
/end pity party
Why would it require experiences? For the prize? My candy bowl was one I bought on the MP and as far as I can tell it works fine. All it would need is some LSL added to the script to accumulate figures on an LL database. If the script were mod. So why can't LL script their candy bowls to do the same for everyone without needing an Experience? Not to bring up bad news but others have done similar. But what I'm talking about doing doesn't record anything more than the UUID and the number of candies given out from that bowl and it's handled by LL. From what I've read that's how they determined the winner. Not by who grabbed the most candy.Probably not due to the experiences requirement.
Yeah considering how the bears are like their private company meme, you would think someone should have built a 1 LI mesh and simple texture to hand out to employees to use. I mean sure, they would all be shaped the same and not as accessorirized but at least maybe they would be useful.6 Li for a tiny bear ..... must be a mole job.
Mine is in the trash already.
