There's a few times where I have heard Cooper Sharp cheese is the best for cheesesteaks. I think it is a regional cheese so if you aren't in the NE may be hard to get. I got some and yes, this is a cheese for melting and is very good for cheesesteaks or grilled cheese sandwiches. Yummy. It is described as American cheese but this is no Kraft singles garbage.

Edited to add: I looked at their store map. It seems to only be available in the greater Philly area or online.

Original article is from the New York Post, so I'd take the claims with a grain of salt, especially since the article mixes some political stuff in to promote her views.
She got "clean" at a $6000 a week center in Hilton Head, but still eats cheese.
