I'm not big on cereal. Except for Lucky Charms. And Froot Loops. Oh, and Trix. And Cap'n Crunch - with Crunchberries. And Cocoa Krispies. Oh, hell. I like any cereal that makes me feel 10 again.

But the worst I think is corn flakes. Nothing but a bowl of soggy sadness.
I solved that at 4 years old with the following recipe:
  • Spoon
  • Bowl
  • Frosted Flakes
  • Sugar
Pour flakes into bowl, pour sugar over flakes, eat flakes with spoon, come down from a sugar high 2 hours later.

Sometime, I'll post my cracker and butter sandwich recipe. (Honest, I've gotten better at this!)

I've never been a huge fan of cold cereals, except granola. And I realized a few years before I got diagnosed with diabetes that the so called balance breakfast was a lie. I mean, sure, maybe you could argue juice is good for you [its not], and a non-sugary cereal, maybe - but pop-tarts?! [Don't get me wrong, pop-tarts might be a major factor in my diabetes.... but its not healthy].

Most of those are okay, but I only eat Cap'n Crunch when it's been awhile since I've last had my palate shredded. ^^

Pancakes with some fruit, sausage, and a glass of milk is my balanced breakfast.

Sadly I can only have that like once in a while, cuz morning is busy-time. Occasionally it is a balanced dinner, though...

Yeah, I usually don't eat breakfast for much the same reason. By the time I crawl out of bed, shower, and get dressed, it's time to head off to work or class, depending on what day it is. Sure, I could wake up earlier, but I figure the extra sleep is better for me than a fast breakfast.

When I'm lucky enough to get up early on a Saturday and pick up a couple bagels and a coffee, that's breakfast for a week!

Cornflakes are great!!

Fine for adding stuff to and I like soggy cornflakes.

Stuff like cornflakes and cheerios are primed for throwning bananas at or various sugars.

Also i dont like pankcake mixes with blueberries in them, the "blueberries" never hydrate enough and it leaves me with nice pancakes with dry crunchy bits of blue eck in'em.

My favorite is Fruity Pebbles and I refuse to eat it in a bowl. I have a special large Taz glass that is only used when I eat Fruity Pebbles with a big spoon. That's the only way I will eat it lol.

Cheerios and milk in a bowl is really just a bowl full of milk and dry cheerios rolling away on the breakfast table.

Cheerios has to be the most ridiculous thing ever. They refuse to submerge in milk... until they're soggy and gross.

Seems to be the only PROPER way to eat Cheerios is to .. I dunno, squirt them with a mister filled with milk or something.

While the "nutriotional value" of a lot of cereals is laughable, I have the soul of a ten year old and you will rip the fruit loops and lucky charms out of my cold, dead, hands.

I’m diabetic and even “healthy” cereal will crank up my blood sugar like nothing else, so I don’t eat it often. I often don’t bother eating actual breakfast food for breakfast.

I never could understand the fascination with pouring liquid on cereal and I still eat it dry unless it is cooked oatmeal. If I want liquid it goes in a glass.

You haven't lived childhood until you've turned a bowl of milk raspberry pink!

I weigh now what I did in high school, when I was considered thin even for those days. And I've skipped breakfast my entire adult life, with few exceptions. This little video makes me feel vindicated. But when I do eat cereal I like it so much that I always want at least one more bowl. The way I like it is with the milk in first then the cereal on top to keep it crunchy while I eat it. This makes me think about Randy in Cryptonomicon with his perfect temperature milk and Captain Crunch.
