There's a few out there. But the worst I think is corn flakes. Nothing but a bowl of soggy sadness.Only 2 I've ever disliked.
I solved that at 4 years old with the following recipe:But the worst I think is corn flakes. Nothing but a bowl of soggy sadness.
Most of those are okay, but I only eat Cap'n Crunch when it's been awhile since I've last had my palate shredded. ^^I'm not big on cereal. Except for Lucky Charms. And Froot Loops. Oh, and Trix. And Cap'n Crunch - with Crunchberries. And Cocoa Krispies. Oh, hell. I like any cereal that makes me feel 10 again.
Pancakes with some fruit, sausage, and a glass of milk is my balanced breakfast.I've never been a huge fan of cold cereals, except granola. And I realized a few years before I got diagnosed with diabetes that the so called balance breakfast was a lie. I mean, sure, maybe you could argue juice is good for you [its not], and a non-sugary cereal, maybe - but pop-tarts?! [Don't get me wrong, pop-tarts might be a major factor in my diabetes.... but its not healthy].
Cornflakes are great!!There's a few out there. But the worst I think is corn flakes. Nothing but a bowl of soggy sadness.
My favorite is Fruity Pebbles and I refuse to eat it in a bowl. I have a special large Taz glass that is only used when I eat Fruity Pebbles with a big spoon. That's the only way I will eat it lol.I'm not big on cereal. Except for Lucky Charms. And Froot Loops. Oh, and Trix. And Cap'n Crunch - with Crunchberries. And Cocoa Krispies. Oh, hell. I never could understand the fascination with pouring liquid on cereal and I still eat it dry unless it is cooked oatmeal. If I want liquid it goes in a glass.I solved that at 4 years old with the following recipe:
Pour flakes into bowl, pour sugar over flakes, eat flakes with spoon, come down from a sugar high 2 hours later.
- Spoon
- Bowl
- Frosted Flakes
- Sugar
Sometime, I'll post my cracker and butter sandwich recipe. (Honest, I've gotten better at this!)
You haven't lived childhood until you've turned a bowl of milk raspberry pink!I never could understand the fascination with pouring liquid on cereal and I still eat it dry unless it is cooked oatmeal. If I want liquid it goes in a glass.
This reminds me that one of the things I would do is make ketchup swirlies in mashed potatoes. You haven't lived childhood until you've turned a bowl of milk raspberry pink!
