"Camouflage - that's ours!"

lol. Hey buddy, camouflage is not some political party's. It's military, and you've left them behind.
It's funny how the people who just whined about "stolen valor" have this fetish for military cosplay.

I'm shoehorning this post into this thread because it's tangentially related to the election. Yesterday I posted a very basic comment in a news sub: "I don't just want a win. I want Trump drowned by a blue tsunami."

To my amusement I garnered 2.7k upvotes and several hundred comments. It wasn't an impressive statement, instead I suspect I was just early to a thread and happened to strike a resonant note with what we're all thinking and feeling.

This morning, when I went online to catch up on replies, my comment had been removed by Reddit for inciting violence. lol

ha! Yeah... most of my most highly upvoted comments were very simplistic. If a comment is involved and thoughtful, it makes it a lot easier for someone to misunderstand it and find something they don't like. Karma farming bots use this mechanic. Just post simplistic, pandering things. People won't understand your essay!

And that sucks about it being removed for inciting "violence." Algorithms and lazy mods often don't understand figures of speech... I remember a while ago there was a bot on reddit designed to find "negativity." The bot analyzed my history and said my most negative comment was one where I was telling off a nazi troll. ...shame on me for being "negative."
