1. Grow the fuck up and stop being confrontational when no one was being such with you to start with (and yes child, that is exactly how, when and where this started - here and in the SL forum)
2. Use the tools at hand if you're otherwise unwilling/incapable of handling the push back (which clearly is the case as you've done nothing but double down the second you were presented with any form of push)
3. Do neither and eventually say the wrong thing to the wrong person (likely in person) and reap the consequences

Of course you can keep pretending this all came out of nowhere and that you're just responding to a bully or whatever other excuse helps you to sleep at night.

If you get so disgusted and decide to quit or pull back from posting as much, it's a win for them. I've seen this happen before on UseNet where spammers and trolls just flat out emptied entire communities that once had thriving conversations. Find a strategy that keeps you sane.

As far as tolerance and 'freedom' goes ... If this place was as 'intolerant' as you seem to think it was, do you really think you'd still have an active account here? Freedom? Low emotional intelligent and too much ego was my guess. I'll own the original firefight. Sidestepping into a personal attack earns fire because it can't be fully done on accident. You can accidentally sidestep or straw-man, but not so much when it involves a personal attack. And it's not a case of language. We both speak English. Arguments made in bad faith or built with personal insults are grounds for a firefight. I'm not tolerating jack shit that you wouldn't. Cause why would I? Why would you?

I just kinda wish MK. II hadn't shuttered and later pretty much been erased - was kind of amusing to watch someone come strutting in, pretending to be 'The Shit' and getting one hell of a verbal smack down. Usually after that they either learned their lesson and were a hell of a lot more careful about the fights they picked ... or they'd leave in a huff because 'everyone was so mean' to them.
