Would you rather spend five days exploring Disney or New York City?

For me this is an easy choice. Big Apple here I come.
I've been to often in a theme park with school classes, I learned to dislike those places.

I've already spent 5 days exploring disney, twice [still too much to explore. I'd imagine NYC is the same, so I'd rather have more than 5 days?

I personally hate Disney World. I just don't like the fantasy that it stands for. I'd much rather explore New York. Specifically Central Park, it's the one area where I haven't been in NY and it looks beautiful.

I’ve already been to New York but I’d go again. 🍎

I’m not very into Disney stuff even though I like amusement parks (roller coasters!) I think I’d rather explore the rest of Florida - swamps, kitschy architecture, alligators, (and weird people).

It's no contest . I'd pick NYC in ... you should forgive the expression ... a New York minute! Disney is to NY's cultural richness what cotton candy is to fine cuisine.

I've been 2 days in NYC when I visited family in New England, a gazillion years ago. (1988)
I still remember how it was, when I came out of Madison Square Station. All these sky scrapers, all these rushing people, the stinking traffic ,,,,
My first impression was, wow... let's get out of here. But once we had dropped our stuff in the hotel and walked from there to Time Square, I got the hang of the City.
It is soooo different from European cities.

In the end, I had two lovely days in New York together with my mother. But two days is way to short to even scratch the surface.
So I would love to go back for a longer city trip, but first you guys have to remove a 45 next fall and Covid-19 has to be under control on both sides of the pond.

From a personal health and safety point of view.. gimme the master keys and let me explore Disney world/land while they're closed & empty. Would be fun... And creepy!

I've been to NYC many times, I can wait for the pandemic to ease up before going back. :}

I'd rather explore a creepy abandoned amusement park with all the bones showing than either of them.
An old abandoned amusement park that has vines and all kinds of crazy plants growing all over it, like it had been abandoned for years and then bones and skeletons placed in cool places would be an awesome halloween visit.

I grew up in New York City, so been there, done that, for 23 years. I've also been back many times to visit family. I've been to Disney World four or five times, so I've done enough of that too. So something else, like visiting Europe for an extended stay (a month or so).

Easy one, out of those two it would be NYC. I have never visited the US at all, and I have no interest in theme parks or Disney.

But if I could pick any other US city to substitute, it would be Chicago. I have a friend who lives there; he's been here to visit me once in RL, I would love the opportunity to return the favour.

New York, New York! I've been once before, many years ago, and I loved it, would go again in a heartbeat.

I hate NYC. Every time I'm there I tense up and feel claustrophobic. I'd pick Disney. While there, I'd ignore the park and instead relax at the hotel and at some nice, quiet poolside bar.
