Okay - thanks for letting us know ahead of time.
/me makes a silly comment about M&Ms and the size of Tucker's penis.
I looked into this to make sure that it's true and damn, it is.
Is that a skit? It ALMOST defies belief that someone could lack that kind of self awareness. Even when I was a libertarian, I had a lot more awareness that my parents were better off than most people and this had a material affect on my upbringing. That said, I came to realize I was even MORE privileged than I thought I was as a kid.
Yes, she's a comedian, doing a wonderfully acute skit.Is that a skit? It ALMOST defies belief that someone could lack that kind of self awareness. ...as a side note, I think there is an interesting cognitive bias that kids (and some people who never grew up) just assume their upbringing was the very definition of "normal." "Normal" is one of the most absurd words relative to how often it's used. I think I grew up thinking a lot of things are just "standard" that really aren't, like how it's "normal" to have a really agreeable mother and a really sarcastic dad etc. This bias makes it hard for a lot of privileged kids to know it, and can also make it hard for kids in much less favorable environments to know they deserve better.
Wait wait!I looked into this to make sure that it's true and damn, it is.
I can't imagine the stupidity.
No Kidding: I have recently been looking at these shutters because I hate curtains (lots of people in Florida have them). I got a quote and it was quite hefty but it would have added value to the house so I was going to sign the quote/contract and call them out to do the work within the next couple of weeks.
I just showed this ad to my husband and now, they can go F*@# themselves. We're going to go with bamboo horizontals. Thanks for posting that Dakota, I would never have known otherwise.
I get maybe being offended by "candy in shoes", that's a bit weird by any stretch. What makes me LOL about the whole thing is that he's pissed because the shoes aren't stiletto's and instead are "unsexy block heels"? WTF? It's like he's using the candy to tell women what he thinks about women wearing more comfortable, less sexy shoes. What an ass.
