we started using it at my job, we've actually gotten every site now within our district on it, it's improved so many items, now if discord just offered a real business solution.

Apart from the fact that Discord breaks the web, I don't know how they could have devised as bad a user experience as Discord by accident. They must actively hate their users.

I agree. I need threaded conversations. Trying to keep up with Discord's single-threaded discussion during the times I can check on it is difficult, to say the least.

A discord is a closed silo, nothing in a discord is part of the web.

Content in discord doesn't show up in search, and even if someone goes through the shenanigans involved in creating a link, which they pretty much don't bother doing ever (let alone posting it some place that's searchable), you need to create an account on that specific discord to see the content, and blow that for a joke.
