I had assumed it would be the firing of Mueller that would trigger protests, but it will not hurt to fire a warning shot. Figuratively.

At some point, a little while back, they added the firing of Rosenstein/Appointing of someone who would endanger Mueller's investigation, IIRC.

I signed up way back when MoveOn first initiated the idea...I think it was last year sometime, and I remember the conditions under which it would trigger changing at some point.

I just saw the email. For anyone around DC it is 5 PM tomorrow in front of the WH, they are also asking for volunteers to meet at 4 PM at the statue in the center of lafayette park.

So was everyone that could at one yesterday? I left the dc one an hour early but i was also there an hour early.

The one in my town got cancelled, so I could only be at the protests in spirit. I'm honestly not surprised, though, given how heavily conservative this place is.

I was going to go to the one in Seattle but it was in a place where i'd need to take two buses and it'd take two hours. I still feel bad about not doing it but I hear a shit-ton of people did go so that's still good.

I went to the one in Lancaster with a rather smallish but mighty crowd. They also circulated instructions on doing it again in the case of Mueller's firing. Many people seemed to focus more on Whitaker recusing.

I went to the event in the small collage town I live in now even tho the weather was predicted to be chilly and rain. I arrived early and found that it was mostly older people. later when the event was suppose to start a few collage age kids showed up but i got an strange vibe off those like that they didn't see it as a real protest because their was no real chance of getting arrested. We stayed around about an hour and half so people could take pictures of our signs did a few chants and finally got some people in passing cars to honk. This was only my second protest in my life but it seemed that as though of the other protesters were veterans of 70 activism who were trying to get back into protestor shape.

This sounds just like my local event!

There were about 50 people, most of them my age or older, with a sprinkling of young people and a few dogs. Signs were waved, horns were honked. I lasted about a 1/2 hour before I limped home.

Ok, so i was not the only one that did not last until the end of their event. I have learned if i push myself to the limit my medical issue rears its head so did not want to get myself stuck in a crowd of everyone leaving at once.

Exactly. One time I was unable to attend an event in person so was going between multiple computers and social media feeds during it to signal boost people on the scene and echo information from them to different sites.
