Made my anonymous first wikipedia edit in years, fixed their sample troff code in https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Troff so that it will actually work. I encountered the troff page through reading up on desktop publishing, tried the troff sample, which didn't work properly. And through some trial and error and reading error messages figured out how to make it work. Troff reminds me of WordPro4+ on the CBM8032, the first wordprocessor I ever used, which had embedded commands like this prefaced by an arrow symbol and not a period.

I do have a Wikipedia account, just couldn't be bothered to recover it so I could log in.
