A fair point.

Another cool fact: the Sun is classified as a "yellow dwarf", but it's actually GREEN insofar as the largest portion of the visible light it emits.

That's kinda just by the numbers of course. To actual eyes, all stars are basically white when you're anywhere nearby them, regardless of spectral color. (Sorry EVE Online!)

Fun fact: The fastest way to die is at ground zero in a nuclear explosion. It will vaporise you faster than the time it takes for the electricity from your nerves to your brain to send the signal.

Astronauts Nick Hague and Alexey Ovchinin were recovered safely this morning after a second-stage booster on their Soyuz rocket failed around 2 and a half minutes into the launch. The failure forced a mid-launch abort and ballistic landing of the crew capsule, and after landing the SAR team found them in good condition.

With no alternative launch vehicle available at the moment, the three current ISS crew members are going to be stuck up there for a little while.

No, there’s a capsule docked there now. They can come back anytime they want.

That leads to other problems though, such as “abandoning the ship”.

Yeah that's what I mean. They're stuck there until another crew can be sent cuz the ISS kinda needs a crew.

They have until December to return to earth. The ISS can go for a short period without crew. The Russians have a few months to investigate before their next scheduled launch (but NASA may want more time, making a full Russian crew more likely).

SpaceX has a test of their crew capsule scheduled for January, with a manned test in June. It might be possible to speed that up a little. That would make the 4th quarter of 2019 the earliest that NASA might use them. Boeing is a few months behind SpaceX.

They have a little breathing room.

NASA appears to be unconcerned about the Russian launch failure.

Nasa to continue using Soyuz rockets despite breakdown

Speaking in Moscow, Nasa head Jim Bridenstine said he expected a December mission to the International Space Station (ISS) to go ahead as planned.

The two crew members who aborted were ready to fly again, he said.
The article follows with comments on the investigation, but the implication is that it should be concluded quickly.

Amateurs used a Chinese satellite to photograph Earth and the moon

This new portrait of Earth and the moon was taken this week by a camera on board a student-built microsatellite, Longjiang-2. It was launched on 25 May 2018 alongside a larger lunar communications satellite designed to support China’s upcoming Chang’e 4 lunar rover, and has been orbiting the moon since.

The tiny satellite was developed by a team at the Harbin Institute of Technology in Heilongjiang Province, China and is designed to allow amateurs to upload radio commands and download photos.
Think about it, NASA: Next lunar rover, allow the public to send it places to explore.

It's ambiguous, but the subtitle includes "may create" so it is clear that the title is still speculative.

'Do Not Track,' the Privacy Tool Used by Millions of People, Doesn't Do Anything

To demonstrate their theoretical support for DNT—or from a more skeptical perspective, to garner some positive press—Google, Microsoft, Apple, Mozilla, and others started offering the “Do Not Track” option in their respective browsers, but absent a consensus around the actions required in response to the DNT:1 signal, these browsers are just screaming for privacy into a void.
