Read the article carefully, as security tape showed what he did in fairly thorough detail. It was pretty obviously intended to sabotage the public test and manufacture suspicion of the local balloting process.

He clearly communicated his actions to other people who were present at the time, at least one of whom then acted on his information to try and put the election officials on the spot. I don't think it's enough to prove there was actual premeditated collusion there, but like an argument could certainly be made.

Heck yeah.

It's like - look guys, I get the DESIRE to be as neutral as possible. Report the news, don't write the news, right? It's a good and wholesome intention. But in These Unprecedented Times, a little pragmatism is called for. Conservative media outlets are proudly, like, theatrically conservative. So-called "liberal" media outlets on the other hand try to hard so be "balanced" and "neutral" and what does it get them? Nothing. They're still called the Liberal Mainstream Brainwash Media by the entire conservative faction.

I think Bezos' stated reason for not letting WaPo publish its endorsement is a straight-up bright red lie; but even pretending it's honest for a moment - sorry Jeff, but doing this hasn't convinced a single conservative that the WaPo is "neutral". This decision literally did nothing but lose the paper hundreds of thousands of subscribers.
