I only checked the last few pages so hopefully I am not duplicating a post, but has anyone watched Remarkably Bright Creatures? Based on a book I never did get around to reading and starring Sally Field so I had to give it a try.

I really really enjoyed it for what it is, cozy and yes predictable but it felt good to see a mature cast and scenarios I feel I can relate to more than I can when the cast is younger than my son. The concept of the octopus character was much less corny than I expected it to be. Also a good cathartic ugly cry at the end which is expected of this type of movie.

I've been watching it in spurts, so I'm about half-way through. It's...been OK. I'm worried about the utterly expected ugly cry moment so I'm working my way up to it.

I watched it, too. Because, well, Sally Field, and an octopus, how could I not.

Nice to see you 👋
Hope you’re doing well

I enjoyed the Amazing Digital Circus Last Act. It wasn't perfect but it wrapped things up alright.
Another weekend, another YouTuber who has found success at the box office. This time, it's not a direct YouTube-series-to feature-adaptation or a YouTuber getting a chance at making a feature film. Rather, it's Gooseworx's "The Amazing Digital Circus," which started life as a YouTube series, was picked up by Netflix for release, and got big enough that the show's finale has become a bonafide theatrical event for its fans. The box office is in the midst of a major sea change, and it's happening fast.
"The Amazing Digital Circus: The Last Act" opened to $12.3 million, landing at number five on the box office charts for the weekend. It placed just above "The Mandalorian and Grogu" ($10 million), which recently set an unwanted record for "Star Wars" with a massive second weekend drop. It also placed below "Obsession" ($25.6 million) and "Backrooms" ($25.9 million), both of which are part of this big YouTuber Hollywood takeover that has dominated the conversation over the past month.
Even more impressive? "The Amazing Digital Circus" actually topped the charts altogether on Thursday, with a huge $7.9 million. This represents a new record for a Fathom release, with the finale pulling in $20.2 million to date and counting. "Obsession" cemented the new trend for horror of YouTubers breaking into the mainstream. This show is now continuing the trend and expanding it even further.

If only we could get this and still have episodes 4-6, somehow.
Easy. Because Anakin was told no, he fumes, throws a tantrum, lashes out with untrained force and kills his own mom and the jewish fly slave owner. He rampages across Tatoine and is quickly noticed by the Empire who drag his punk ass in and the emperor turns Gary Stu to the dark side at a much younger age.

No Empire then! Still the Republic! Also when does he impregnate Padme?

The sequel will probably be better.

Padme comes back to visit on her own a few times.

Its a bit creepy but then she was made leader of an entire planet at like 14, so she probably has development issues with what is proper.

From a simple rewrite of Episode 1 to horrible porn releases in 4 steps. Not bad.
