I liked it a lot and agree on Uzo Aduba (if you haven't seen it, check her out in Orange Is the New Black!), only... it feels like the show takes place over a LOT more time than the single night it's supposed to exist in.I ran across this limited series on Netflix and absolutely loved it!
Jonathan Joss, an actor on “King of the Hill” who voiced John Redcorn, died in a shooting on Saturday, San Antonio police confirmed to Variety. He was 59.
San Antonio officers were dispatched to a shooting in progress at a home on Sunday night around 7 p.m. When they arrived at the scene, they found Joss near the road after he was shot multiple times. The officers attempted life-saving measures until medics arrived, but Joss was pronounced dead at the scene. The shooter fled in a vehicle but was detained by officers a block away and booked for murder. The investigation is still ongoing. TMZ, which broke the news, reported that Joss was shot by a neighbor after a disagreement.
In a statement on Joss’ Facebook page, his husband Tristan Kern de Gonzales said that Joss was “murdered by someone who could not stand the sight of two men loving each other.”
From what I've seen so far, it looks like it's trying to stay more true to the Mary Shelley/Wollstonecraft original. I'm skeptical about the casting though. Oscar Isaacs always seems very present in his roles, it's hard for me to watch him without his other roles hanging around him being distracting. And making Jacob Elordi 'unpretty' seems like a crime.
I watched it twice... and dammit, I still can't figure out...I ran across this limited series on Netflix and absolutely loved it!
Uzo Aduba as Cordelia Cupp is absolutely awesome.
Yet another sequel that shouldn't have been made.
Wish granted. The Monkey Paw says now only Empire Strikes Back exists. And I'm honestly not sure the world needed more than one Star Wars. It certainly didn't need more than three.
