Glass Onion is as good as Knives Out. It has a different tone but is full of good actors having fun with a resort setting murder mystery. They did a 1-week theatrical run for Oscar qualification so we saw it last night. Now waiting to rewatch it on Netflix to see what we missed.

Hey now, Tom saved people in Sully & Apollo 13. I haven't seen Captain Phillips. Fair Enough: Cast Away: Everyone died but him.

There's "Joe vs the Volcano" - go on vacation, volcano erupts.
"Terminal" - take plane flight, get trapped in terminal because your country no longer exists and you are state-less.
um . . . "Volunteers" - go volunteer overseas to escape debt, get trapped in a three way conflict.

I don't think the key feature to a great trip is not dying. It's certainly important, but sets the bar pretty low.

Well, I was reacting to the "Never Travel with Tom Hanks" with the idea that, in at least two of the four films, the other people survived because Hanks was aboard. So how are they examples of "Never Travel with Tom Hanks"?

The Swiss have finally gone bonkers, and the result is MAD HEIDI (a totally crowdfunded only movie)!

MAD HEIDI is an action-adventure exploitation spoof based on the popular children‘s book character Heidi and the very first Swissploitation film. Yes, this time Switzerland will be exploited! In a dystopian Switzerland that has fallen under the fascist rule of an evil cheese tyrant, Heidi lives the pure and simple life in the Swiss Alps. Grandfather Alpöhi does his best to protect Heidi, but her yearning for freedom soon gets her into trouble with the dictator’s henchmen. The innocent girl transforms herself into a kick-ass female fighting force who sets out to liberate the country from the insane cheese fascists.
