For some reason, I am experiencing severance as a sort of antidote to the nightmare that life has turned into.

I find it really annoying that Marvel has been all, "Look look, Red Hulk, we got Red Hulk!" In the Captain America 4 trailer, but at the same time in Thunderbolts they are all, "Hi, I'm Bob."

Like they clearly can show restrait in trailers and not just dump everything and ruin any surprises.

Though they also seem to keep tip toing around Bob, who is and isn't in the Super Bowl trailer.

Bob is Sentinel, who is basically like Marvel Superman in strength and ability. Moreso and more directly comparable than Captain Marvel.

But is Bob the Blue Hulk, or the Yellow Hulk?

Persona 1966 Directed by Ingmar Bergman
Starring Liv Ullman and Bibi Andersson

Liv Ullman does not speak a single word. Bibi Andersson is her care taker. Every minute of this movie took my breath away. This movie is all about expressions, emotions and best of understanding between the two.

Justwatch.com shows where it is available, which includes Persona on justwatch though I watched it elsewhere.

People hate on Marvel, but they can be amazing for this sort of thing with little nods and throwbacks that are really subtle.

Marvel has done a good job with adapting outfits for the screen with design nods. DC has been pretty bad.

The original costume designs were intended for the reader to be able to tell characters apart on cheaply printed pages. Lots of bold colors and exaggerated shapes.

In Marvel, Captain America gets body armor with a patriotic color scheme. In Aquaman, Black Mantis gets a comics-acurate oversized helmet. So Cap looks like he is ready for a fight. Mantis looks like he wandered away from a Power Rangers episode.

So, there is this episode of Law and Order SVU on and its, actually called "Avatar". The investigation leads them to this online world, very Second Life like. I found it amusing.

What was kind of extra amusing was how disgusted Olivia was with the woman she was talking to who used to world. "You can be anything and you choose to be a prostitute?"

Also later they were talking about it with the other detectives and it was something like, "So they have a cartoon person and have cartoon sex for cartoon money." They also talked about how much other cartoon stuff you could buy like land etc.

Anyway, it was amusing. It also reminded me a bit of my main annoyance with the show, especially Olivia at times, because she basically sees literally any sex as evil as far as I can tell. I suppose it's realistic given her profession, but also it seems like she almost always jumps immidiately to "This was rape." At least for the show's part, she is in fact, sometimes wrong in her assumptions.
