II) Phone booths have almost totally disappeared from the face of the Earth. Does this explain why we have not seen Mr. Superman lately?
I find it very difficult to believe there are 100,000 phone booths left or even 100,000 pay phones. I don't remember seeing one around here for a long time. All the same -

According to the FCC, there are only 100,000 pay-phone booths left in the United States. Four of them are in New York City. The city must be saving them in case Clark Kent needs a place to change. I have often wondered where Superman hid his clothes, especially his hat which would surely stick out noticeably under his cape.

IIRC in the old days he super compressed his civvies and kept them in a hidden pouch behind his belt.
It seems like you're either telling me Mr. Superman is -- erm -- padding the package or, worse, wearing a fanny pack. A fanny pack would explain the need for the cape.

1) Never mind the glasses, what does Mr. Superman do with his suit/shoes/hat/etc. when he "freshens up?"
Canon says they're made of Kryptonian supermaterials that he can supercompress into a pocket in his cape and unfold them undamaged.

They made a sight gag out of this in one of the movies, but there seems no shortage of dark alleys.

And no HR department in the world is going to narc on you for not using your benefits.

They're called sling bags now. Maybe he should wear something like this?

It's funny how these companies always use tiny people as models to make their bags look bigger.

That, I suspect, was far more entertaining than reading the book itself! The few quotes he gives leave me with the impression of someone who isn't particularly clever trying to sound clever.

The Peterson map is filled with numerous voids captioned Here be dragons.
That conversation was ludicrous. He was trying to talk about the category "Predators, both real and imaginary" and Dawkins was trying to talk about "Predators that actually exist in the physical world". Why on earth was Peterson trying to argue about it?

I honestly lost my grip on the conversation when he starts on predator being a "meta category" - which I get but what does that have to do with the conversation? - and is fire a predator? (It's complicated because a fire kills you???) I'm starting to think the man is no longer arguing with people but with his own inner dragons.

This may be one of the better examples of using your own words against you to prove you're the exact opposite of what you claim to be. But then Peterson sort of makes it easy.

If I don't throw the switch, I'm committing murder by proxy. So no choice, really.

A time-travelling death trolley? Aren't we stretching this "problem" past all sensibilities?
