Reluctantly
There used to be a cavorite mine somewhere in SL (Bay City, maybe?) with a conveyor belt bringing out bouncing, floating, chunks of green-glowing ore.
Northwest corner of Caledon Moors, built by Horg Neurocam. It also featured an Ancient Aliens feature.

Here is one of those machines eating trees:

Personally, I find this kind of tree genocide horrible. I do woodworking, and can't help but think how many things you make with them besides wood chips. Mulch up the small branches, sure, but the big pieces are too useful to destroy.

Iceland is erupting again! \o/

After weeks of strong and alarming swarms of earthquakes in western Iceland, in the area somewhat between the capital city Reykjavik and the town of Keflavik where the international airport is located, people were finally beginning to relax their fears of an imminent volcanic eruption over the last couple of days as the earthquakes seemed to dramatically fall in number and severity.

But tonight at around 930PM local, and quite unexpectedly, a fissure opened at the old Fagradalsfjall shield, about 20 miles south of the capital.

There hasn't been an eruption on the Reykjanes Peninsula in almost 800 years! Right now all the roads in the area are closed and the airport is shut down too; but it seems to be a very calm eruption and no populated areas are considered to be in danger.
