Onion 🧅 bacon 🥓 and pineapple 🍍 is great on a pizza 🍕
None of them go well on a face mask, though...

(AFTER COFFEE EDIT: And don't go posting snaps of face masks with imprints of onions and bacon and pineapples on them! You don't put pictures of pineapples on pizza and eat that, so...)

So you want a picture of a mask with actual pineapple on it?

So today, when I went for my brain zappies, we saw a young man on the street corner, holding a carboard sign and a mask. Now, signs out of cardboard aren't that weird around here - lots of homeless vets, plus religious weirdos who used to like to shout at passing cars.... But when we turned the corner, kid was holding a BLM sign. Was so proud.

Also make sure the onion pic looks right. :)

We had a second mask shooting in my area this week. The headline is a bit messy, but it almost reads like an onion article... PA man charged in shootout with at least 7 cops was, 'just not handling the pandemic well': lawyer.

I really don't get it. At what point did a segment of society decide it's ok to go all Falling Down when asked to wear a mask? Of all the triggers we've had in 2020, they decided that masks are the hill they want to lilterally die on?
Wait. He was not allowed to have guns because of a previous aggravated assault conviction yet he had an AK-47 and an automatic pistol *and* survived an encounter in which he shot at seven officers. Previously, at the cigar store when he didn't want to wear the mask he stole a couple then fired shots at the clerk.

“I know his dad. I know his mom. I know Adam,” Waldron said. “From what I hear with these allegations, this is not his typical behavior pattern.”
It kind of does sound like his typical behavior pattern. While there is sympathy for losing his job and child, this guy was already on a road of violence prior to the pandemic, it seems. Given what happens to even children holding toy guns I'd say the outcome of him living to face charges is fortuitous. Perhaps he can actually change his ways

Oh yeah, the case I posted here is a bit more extreme than most cases around here, which I why I posted it. We have a lot of violent anti-maskers around here. Usually they throw fists, and usually their target is little old ladies, but once or twice a week somebody around here pulls a gun over being told to wear a mask. Maybe this situation could be avoided with better mental health services, IDK. Most of the time they seem like your average, run of the mill asshole to me. I hate plague rats.

I'm a bit pissed right now... our local bus drivers around here scold passengers if they don't wear masks or don't wear them right - fine - that is something good. But those assholes don't wear masks themselves because "that would be illegal" ??? WTF German goverment, WTF! Get rid of those stupid lobbyists crawling into your buttocks and make rules that make some f*ing sense !

Well, essentially it's illegal to wear a mask as a driver, because of speeding radar stations. Since those snap pictures, and the driver of the vehicle has to be validated...yeah. They need to update that rule for Corona times.

In the UK, the speed traps photograph the vehicle's number plate, not the driver.

In the case of private vehicles, it's assumed the vehicle's registered keeper (normally the owner) was driving unless she or he tells the police it was someone else (under penalty of perjury and perverting the course of public justice for lying about it, which, of course, have far, far more serious consequences than would a simple speeding ticket and fine).

In the case of commercial vehicles like buses, the bus company must know who was driving a particular vehicle at a particular time and date, I would have thought.

Why is it a problem in Germany?

It's interesting that you guys have those speed trap cameras. They tried that here for a short time and then would mail the owner of the vehicle the couple hundred dollar fine. Eventually, though they were sued on the basis that it wasn't necessarily the owner that was driving the vehicle at the time. There was also the fact that they only placed them in low income sections of town.

They lost and removed them.

Yes, I would think that GPS, bus number, time of day would tell them exactly what driver was using the vehicle at any given time.

They do both here, of course. To identify the vehicle, and to actually prove the cases of somebody else driving it. As I said, I personally think the rules here need a simple updating that, if the driver cannot be verified NOT to be the owner of the vehicle (like when wearing a mask) it just defaults to the owner as you described.
And I agree on the commercial venues thing. It is really not hard to do - the law just needs a simple update.
