Hi everyone. I just wanted to do a patience update. It's now been three months since getting scolded for asking about Democrat's health care plans.

Can we at least agree that demanding patience really means "shut up" in Democrat language. There is no health care plans. There's not even a public option.

There is only sickness, medical bankruptcies, lies, manipulation, party loyalists, and crickets. This is the Biden health care plan.

It's not because we don't have the money. There's trillions being debated right now. We have the money. Why don't poor Americans get health care? Because Democrats don't care.

How did you get to be this dense? "Democrats" are not a hive mind. The party basically includes everyone left of the ultra far right now. Republicans are openly hostile to the idea of giving people healthcare and the democrat party contains people who want to give it, and those who think we have to work with the republicans. Voting for more left people in primaries and electing them is all we can do. Unless you have a real alternative course of action, shut up.

Currently the Biden administration is trying to claw back exceptions to the Medicare expansion under ACA granted by the Trump administration that gave red states block grants and allow adding work and other requirements to limit participation.

• Adds new dental, vision, and hearing benefits to Medicare
• Expands Home and Community-Based Services
• Extends the Affordable Care Act Expansion from the American Rescue Plan (making permanent the increased tax credits and cost-sharing subsidies for families on the cliff)
• Incentivizes states that have refused to expand ACA Medicaid coverage
• Reduces patient spending on prescription drugs by allowing Medicare to negotiate drug prices
• Repeals the Trump-era Medicare rebate rule
• Congress would use the projected cost-savings from eliminating the rebate rule and allowing Medicare to negotiate drug prices to pay for the new Medicare benefits, home-based services, Medicaid expansions for non-expansion states and the ACA improvements.
