Thread about white terrorism and conspiracy pushers:
He’s a fuckin’ moron.Unhinged...
The whole press conference seems to have been like that.
No bet.Mild hunch Trump drops Pence for VP and adds in one of his kids.
I already predicted it'll be Ivanka - who recently became a republican - I think when someone else was saying it'd be Nikki Haley?Mild hunch Trump drops Pence for VP and adds in one of his kids.
Now Diamond and Silk are out of a job with Fox, I predict he'll end up trying to counter Biden's appointment of a woman as his VP candidate by choosing one of them (and trying to nominate the other to the Supreme Court, probably).I already predicted it'll be Ivanka - who recently became a republican - I think when someone else was saying it'd be Nikki Haley?
Thanks.
Like the vast majority of these so-called protests, it's Trump supporters who all want their hair cut right now. The poor souls. They're all looking like damn hippies, and that bugs them immensely.Thanks.
I found the full report very interesting -- it doesn't seem to be business owners or workers wanting to re-open.

CHP arrests protesters in Sacramento who defy shelter-in-place order to demand California reopen
Dozens of California Highway Patrol officers surrounded the Capitol, ordering the rally...www.sfchronicle.com
Yeah, the people I know who want a haircut are showing up at meetings obviously done by a spouse. After all this barbers may end up with competition.Like the vast majority of these so-called protests, it's Trump supporters who all want their hair cut right now. The poor souls. That whole thread, tracing apocalyptic religious and political conspiracy fantasies in the US, from their beginnings in the Reagan era, from which I remember them, to their present manifestations is fascinating, and I particularly appreciated this connection between the conspiracists, the NRA and the Republican PartyThread about white terrorism and conspiracy pushers:
Does 'paramilitary' have to mean they know what they're doing? Let'm keep their guns.Does 'paramilitary' have to mean they know what they're doing? Because this guy doesn't think they do, and he sounds like he knows what he's talking about.
"Older Americans month"? Are these the same older people that his party thinks should take one for the team (portfolio)?Apparently he made these remarks at an event in The East Room to celebrate his signing a proclamation declaring May to be "Older Americans Month," whatever that means.
I don't think it really matters what the event is -- give him a microphone and a room full (half-full, with physical distancing) of reporters and he's off.
The scary thing is the nra is almost moderate as gun groups go. Before, oh, the 80s they were actually a legitimate safety org but then they lost the script. That whole thread, tracing apocalyptic religious and political conspiracy fantasies in the US, from their beginnings in the Reagan era, from which I remember them, to their present manifestations is fascinating, and I particularly appreciated this connection between the conspiracists, the NRA and the Republican Party
