Coors Light’s New ‘Tallerboy’ Packs 3 Beers Into 1 Giant Can

What’s taller than a tallboy beer can? This summer, Coors Light is asking and answering that question with a new, first-of-its-kind, limited-release canister — the Coors Light Tallerboy — an oversized koozie-like container that fits three 12-ounce cans of Coors Light stacked to the unwieldy height of 18 inches.

The elongated beer can holder is the latest release from the brand’s 2026 FIFA World Cup-associated campaign and was inspired by longtime Telemundo correspondent and legendary soccer announcer Andrés Cantor, beloved for his trademark score call: "¡Gooooooooooooool!"

In a nod to Cantor's famous announcing style, Coors has lengthened its brand name in the campaign’s advertisements. Following suit, the Tallerboy canister depicts an extended “Coooooooooooooors” product name featuring a whopping 14 “o’s."

Will they be selling it in a 2-pack?

It's like something from a Cory Doctorow novel except the gimmick is the protagonists are smuggling bandit access points into the stadium in them as part of a scheme to intercept the big bad's phone calls by sitting in the stands under the box. When they have him located one of the team will open their can and fire a nanotech projectile through the ceiling into his butt-cheeks for later shenanigans.

I agree this is a bit silly.... but maybe makes sense from a marketing gimmick standpoint.

I don't quite know those terms, but I immediately thought, "Wowzers .. what did it cost to get a machine to make that?"

Turns out it is just an insulated sleeve that holds two normal cans.

Also, Coors sucks and so does their beer. Just had to work that in.
