Help me choose my new head

OK, so I love my current head, but LeLutka is having a 50% off sale, so, ya know, two heads are better than one, amirite?
These are the leading contenders.Current head (Avalon) on the left, obvs.

LOL, it's not mandatory.
It's just a half price sale, lol.
I think I tried on every EvoX head that wasn't obviously wrong for me. This two are the ones I wouldn't have to tweak much for a look I liked.

I'm all for buying needless shit on sale...just ask my inventory. But honestly I prefer the one on the left. I also agree if you are hellbent on buying for the sale, the middle is slightly better. Only thing I would maybe suggest..is get a noggin out of your comfort zone instead so you will have a totally different look if you feel the need to change it up.

I agree with others that the one on the left is still the best one. ...at least with the shapes presented. If you really REALLY want to buy a new head, you may need more time to tweak the shape to make them look better. ...and holy hell can that be a painful process.

As a guy, I honestly can't see any difference. This must be one of those secret code things, like knowing the difference between desert taupe, wheat and champaign.

I actually wasn't using the same shape. I was using the shapes that came with the demo heads, and tweaking them.
As similar as heads may look with the same skin, the differences before apparent when you try playing with the sliders. Or using makeup. Lipstick, anyway. Suddenly lipsticks that fit correctly in your lips, don't. It was hard enough funding lipsticks that didn't make me look like Goldie Hawn in The First Wives' Club. Having to go on that quest again does not appeal.
Hence the tweaking. But I guess each brand is had had its limitations.

I didn't mean to imply you were using the same shape over and over again, but HOLY HELL is it hard to tweak shapes with mesh heads... I think you run into a major combinatorial explosion problem trying to find all the different ways to make one look good... and not like something out of the uncanny valley, lol. And this isn't easy... I see bad mesh heads constantly. ...many would be better off just using the default head with a nice skin, honestly. I'm talking about my own troubles more so than yours, but imagine this applies to everyone a little bit, lol.

LOL.He does go for a certain look for his women elves, doesn't he?
The funny thing is, the skin I'm wearing is based on Jackson's Arwen, only it looks better on the shape that isn't. It's even worse on the shape that came with it.

That's when I got mine, too.
I life the mouth on it, but when I look at the heads in the ads, several of them look like they have better cheekbones and such just or if the box, as it were.
But when I put them on it doesn't look like that.
I really thought, from the Lelutka ads, that Sasha would do, but all my lipsticks just look weird on that head.
Didn't look at Nova because I was looking for a certain shape lip, but maybe I should.
Or maybe the metaverse us trying to tell me to spend my $L on hair instead, lol.

I'm 2nd guessing my decision, too. Might end up giving a new head a pass this Black Friday and spend my lindens on other things I've held in demo folders for the past year.
