I'm really liking this vlogger now. I thought he was bit boring initially, but now I appreciate the way he covers the information about Covid-19 and shows how we should be approaching the virus

People who are undergoing, or who have in the past undergone, treatment for cancer may find it helpful to read this FAQ, prepared by a consortium of major British cancer charities:

It certainly answered several questions that had occurred to me.

People may also find this article relevant -- it really brings it home to me how big a difference even being in moderately comfortable material circumstances is likely to make to people who are at particular risk because of their health issues.

The current rate of death in Italy is over 6%. That is terrifying. The latest info I saw was the top underlying condition there was obesity. Not heart or lung disease, although those are next in line.

One of the most critical issues in addition to the number of hospital beds and health care workers will be equipment availability. Ventilators specifically. Tying up an expensive and scarce piece of equipment like that for several weeks per patient severely limits how many people can be treated. Because that is the key piece to survival of those who get critically ill, being on a ventilator for an extended period of time.

As yet another breaking news banner flashes across our screens, disabled and older people deserve to be reassured that their wellbeing is a priority. The coronavirus response can’t be survival of the fittest.
Well good luck with that in the U.S. where poverty and vulnerability are seen as moral failings.
