So before I logged in I was greeted in the sidebar by an ad for Asiandate.com.

I am actually glad to see ads, since it means Cris is getting some revenue to support the site. And they are amusing.

I was going to ask where people were seeing ads, then saw that 'before I'm logged in' part. I've seen no advertisements anywhere here.

Those are Google ads, so they are personalized to your own search history and interests, just sayin'.

I've only seen the ads once (not saying which one). Is there a setting or "view" that brings up the ads? I want to click and make the boss rich.

They only show on the Forums list right now - so if you are using the new posts screen only you won't see them. You don't have to log out to see them, just click here:

I think one appears also in profiles or wherever a sidebar is shown. I'll gradually add more. Also, please don't intentionally click on them unless you are interested in the ad. That violates the rules and doesn't help.

Also, if you have an ad blocker you won't see them unless you unblock the site.
