I hate the Tarantula. Ran across it a few times and every time it gets me.

So....two tips for these guys because farming them can make you loads of bells.

If you see it first, stop immediately before it aggros. When you get close it’ll rear up, but it won’t attack if you don’t advance. You can stand still and swap to your net. Then inch forward very slowly. When it rears, stop and wait for it to settle again. Then inch again and repeat until you’re close enough to net it. They’re pretty easy once you get the pattern down.

If they aggro before you see them run toward something you can use to mess up their pathing like a fence or some dug holes. There’s a good chance they’ll get confused and either fail to bite or allow you to sneak around and nab them. They sell for 8000 each, so they’re worth learning to capture if you can.

I learned a long time ago it's useless to compare one's progress in games that one might play casually to those who might play those games to the exclusion of others. It is especially useless in games like Animal Crossing or Minecraft.

Nintendo gonna Nintendo. Some of the things I dislike most about the Switch, besides the sucky "d-pad as separate buttons" thing, are in regards to the Switches online features and user/profile features. The Switch doesn't even have a user-accessible web browser to access things like FAQ's online. I could do that on the Vita and PS4...at Launch. And don't get me started on the Store, or the lack of any ability to organize games...which even the 3DS has.

In some ways, the Switch is a step backwards.

Good luck finding one right now (other than the crappy Lite versions). I have been trying to find one for Allison, but I've had no luck unless I wanted to pay a huge premium for them. Nintendo already always does artificial scarcity, but it's worse right now because they come from China so they are very difficult to find in stock anywhere.
