Been having fun making up characters for fantasy novels and having AI try generating images of them. These are my favorite so far, with a smidge of deliberate non-conforming gender identity thrown in for some of them. =)

Right-click on that image (at imgur), select 'copy image address' (or 'copy image link,' or whatever terminology your browser uses), then paste the link using the Insert Image field.

Random mind static. I was wondering if there were male gorgons. A "Mister Medusa". So I fribbled around with chatgpt, joking about the double entendre of her "turning a man to stone"... or at least part of him, and riffed on the notion of 'male gaze' vs 'male gays'.

So I figured, what would gazing upon a male gorgon do to someone? Cause them to melt? overheat? spontaneously combust? Naturally, I had to have chatgpt slap something together visually....

Meduso's Gaze turns victims into steam rather than stone...

ChatGPT's image manipulation seems to have completely lost it's fucking mind.

I started with a simple image, just a paintery ai generated version of my forum avatar image, and I wanted to play with the boarder. The few times I got it to do anything, it was basically "select pixels in this range of hues and change them all", creating artifact/holes in the face and hair. When I got it to recognize that there -was- a face in the image and it used AI rather than stupid basic pixel hacking tools, it *completely* changed the image aspect ratio, colors, expression, giving me something that looked like a gray alien in a green wig. Or a version of my avatar, played by Cassian Andor / (Diego Luna). Wtf.

All I wanted was to de-painterize it a little, and then have it look like the image extended off the edges of a page. But nooo.

I woulda been done in 90 seconds if I still had a current photoshop license.
