If you're inclined to ride a bus in the SF Bay Area, they are no longer collecting fares.

AC Transit is now free indefinitely
smart, over here they
  1. stopped selling tickets on the bus
  2. stopped controlling tickets
of course you still need a ticket, you are suppsosed to buy it on your inexistant smartphone LOL - and Germans being Germans... they actualy do if they have a phone...

More humor to help us get through this. I'm still laughing!

Might have been intentional though, just keep in mind Italy is also home of the only Francescian Friar in a Heavy Metal band.

Bible just says "don't mock my name" - fooling around in the Name of the Lord to help people through a crisis is perfectly acceptable by catholic doctrine (wether it was intentional can most likely be judged from thev whole thing - if he just did it in the first informal part of mass it quite likely was intentional, if it kept on going during the formal part not so much).

Gates did not mention Trump by name, but the American president has said that he may decide to relax some of the country’s “social distancing” in order to jumpstart the country’s shut-down economy. Gates, the country’s leading philanthropist, has been among the most active tech leaders in using his resources to try and contain the virus.

“There really is no middle ground, and it’s very tough to say to people, ‘Hey, keep going to restaurants, go buy new houses, ignore that pile of bodies over in the corner. We want you to keep spending because there’s maybe a politician who thinks GDP growth is all that counts,’” Gates said in an interview with TED Tuesday. “It’s very irresponsible for somebody to suggest that we can have the best of both worlds.”

I've been DVRing Big Bang Theory for months. It's on five or six times per week. I normally skip the commercials, but the little bits that I catch seem even more crass under current conditions. But I just caught my first "we'll get through this" commercial (for Culver's). It was barely less crass than anything else, but it almost made me cry.
