SNES DOOM was my first DOOM and I still have a fondness for it. The first time I ever played the PC version via source port I was actually annoyed how mediocre the music was compared to the SNES version. (I think the source ports defaulted to soundblaster or adlib) DOOM Classic Complete on the PS3 also has anemic sound, it's trying to do something similar to the Rolands and failing. The modern ports to PS4/PS5/Switch, have good sound, reminds me of the SNES music but better.
