CNN panel clutches pearls...

You got a problem with the way insurance companies do business, there are a lot of righteous ways to handle it, within the legal structure.
No, there aren't. There isn't fuck all normal people can do about it. There isn't fuck all normal people can do about the rapacious behavior of corporation, billionaires, or the media. Not a fucking thing.

Everyone on this panel CAN do something, but they won't.

I would post that, but youtube would shadow ban me. Because there isn't fuck all I'm allowed to do.

This panel COULD do something, but they won't. Hurray to Bill Burr, who DID do something.

The first words out of this woman's mouth, calling Burr's rant an "armchair analysis" as she and her affluent peers sit in a CNN studio...

What's really, REALLY funny is that a lot of Americans think CNN and other corporate media is leftist or even marxist....

Those chowderheads utterly fail to realize how hopeless a huge chunk of the population became on election day. The law no longer protects us. Kash Patel, FFS, is going to run the FBI by a traitorous criminal's whims. There will shortly be no checks and balances. As Noodles said, laws no longer mean shit, at least not when it comes to protecting those of us in the out crowd. Hell, half the people we walk past on the street would happily help "exterminate the vermin."

Hopeless people -- people with nothing to lose -- are very, very dangerous. That's one of those things that's a cliche because it is so true.

Yeah, the real hopelessness comes from Trump.

Not because he is Trump or his Project 2025 crap. But because the country elected this actual fucking criminal, again.

If it had been anyone else from the GOP, hey it sucks, but it is what it is. But to pick Trump again. The country is lost. People are stupid.

A lot of angry people out there, and in the comments.

Can only share the link, but if you have an account…

Inbox: ‘Wanted’ posters of healthcare CEOs wheatpasted around lower Manhattan ahead of today’s Goldman Sachs Financial Services conference.

“Those who would steal from us have names, faces, and addresses. Justice will only come from the working class,” per anon communique.

Funny how the professional shills for big media will wring their hands about how wrong that is... while they held their tongues when the same was being done to target doctors who ran abortion clinics.

I guess pandering to their corporate overlords is more important than ratings and appealing to their audience.

There's going to be a massive swell in 'hopeless people' over the next decade.

I can see unemployment hitting certain job sectors -really- hard: construction/landscaping, elder & healthcare, grocery stores & food service, all levels of education, postal workers, civic service / social workers. If the ACA gets repealed, that's going to impact counseling, physical therapy, pharmacies... demand for oil/electric will go back up and defunded renewable energy projects will fail.

Availability will drop, costs will skyrocket, companies will fail, more jobs will get lost... we're on the verge of a cascading economic failure if even half of TFG's agenda gets implemented.

It won't just be healthcare CEO's running scared then. It'll be anyone with their head above water financially.

As much as I hate the whole AI push taking jobs, this may actually help all pf this along. I feel like there are a lot of comfy libertarian type mid managers who don't really do much that are going to get pushed outnof their spreadsheet making decision making jobs by LLMs.

Which may being in an additional sort of wave of folks to all of this cause.

"When someone outside the crypto-bubble ... encounters headlines like this, they view it as absolutely insanity," Alex Beene, a financial literacy instructor for the University of Tennessee at Martin told Newsweek of the phenomenon.
I'm betting people inside the bubble feel the same way. They just don't react with the stupefaction and revulsion those on the outside would.

There are a lot of comfy libertarian type programmers who unironically don't believe software should cost money.

Flashing road sign that says, "ONE LESS CEO. MANY MORE TO GO."
When UnitedHealthCare hires a replacement for Brian Thompson, they'll need to change the sign.
