I think many of the stronger democrats like Newsom and Harris are deliberately waiting until Biden retires or finishes his second term. This honestly makes sense from their perspective. I don't think the most calculating candidates want to be responsible for fracturing the party.

I'm not sure what is the best path to victory, but I know we are stuck with Biden unless he willingly steps down as a candidate. I'd rather he do it very soon, or not at all.

They are all very cherry picked and out of context. One of the videos shows him just standing their while others danced around him at a Juneteenth celebration ....what's wrong with not wanting to dance? These videos all are heavily edited with their conclusion already in mind.

And, yes, I do believe white men are exponentially overrepresented and should be first in line for ballot exclusion. That said, my partner will be voting for Trump, so I have to accept that it's not all white people.

I can attest to this. My partner views him as a pro-life, christian, good guy, family man, hero, saviour but will never respond when asked how or why.
What about the child rape and throwing money at a 12yo to cover an abortion? "Fake news."

What about his tight ties with Epstein? "Fake news."
What about the hush money case? The documents charges? The actual recorded felony conviction? "Fake news because he's not in jail."

Some folks seem to get trapped in false equivalency circular thought patterns. Biden being old is somehow ramped up to well, fascist isn't so bad or it's made up, so ergo, the old bit is way worse! Being older versus threat to democracy are not the same. It is sometimes forgotten that Biden has had a lifelong struggle with stuttering from childhood, and admirably conquered it most of the time. When weary, jet lagged, fighting colds, or bombarded with topic overload, issues like a stutter may temporarily flare.
Slowing a bit with aging is natural and expected. Trump is also aging, shuffling, slowing, and stumbling over words. But to compare the two men on the age level is unfair imho. One is slowing but a decent caring and experienced capable leader;
the other is self-indulgent, vindictive, criminally minded and a dangerous narcissist.
