But why would a brownie have a cherry on top of it in Peru?

He wasn't sleeping, HE WAS PRAYING.
There is also the adage about needing to super focus when tooting silent and deadlies. Just sayin. Helps to close the eyes.

I have no solutions, I'm no American. I'm not far into American politics. We have our own idiots in The Netherlands that get way to much votes.
I only write what I see at the moment.
I guess there are no easy fixes for these elections and I do understand the frustration about the possibility that the baboon returns in the Oval Office. I'm frustrated about that too.

These elections are what they are, but that doesn't mean that there isn't a huge problem that needs to be fixed for the future.
Lessons will have to be learned from the current situation: Once and never again.
System changes are needed IMHO to guaranty a solid functioning democracy. A puppet with non-elected handlers behind the scene is not my idea of an ideal democracy, even if it is far better than the baboon back at the wheel.
I think it has been far to easy for presidents to hide things from members of Congress, such. As their health. Democrats should institute regular "Are you OK?" Checks with their leadership, and take steps to find some of coercion over leadership for the good of their party, and more importantly for the citizens who rely on them

There, that's my solution. Moving on now.

Mitch McConnel froze in front of cameras. Several times. Trump has shown signs of confusion and has mis-named people far more than Biden ever has. And this is a Democrat problem why? What steps could they have taken? Who would have been able to win the primary and general elections? Is Biden "hiding" his health or have the Republican-owned media pounced on every small gaffe while ignoring Trump? What has Biden been unable to do? You don't like infrastructure spending, student debt relief, climate regulation, or any of the things Biden has managed to accomplish despite and obstructionist House?

eta: While the race is extremely close, Fivethirtyeight has shown slight movement towards Biden over the last week.

I don't have a problem with Biden getting old. I have a problem with so many top tier democrats wetting their pants because they believe the papers they read and the TV shows they watch. I can't fix panicky politicians: they live inside a Skinner box controlled by wealthy Republican-allied elites. I can only suggest a mechanism to make them less panic-driven.
