Yup, I just checked on of Putin's German fangirls on Telegram for that, Alina Lipp, they already got one.

And her fairy tale goes as follows: the well known blogger Sharii wrote: "Did Russia really shoot their own heroes in their homeland with their own airforce? What a shallow victory."

Now comes her spin doctoring: people do think that Putin is many things, but for sure can agree that he is not dumb. This assassination does not look like something Putin would do that way. It is more likely that internal traitors did that, who would like to start a civil war in Russia.

So yeah, some internal opposion who want to stir up a civil war in Russia are to be blamed from official Putin propagandists!

My 2 cents: in my opinion this is something Putin would do exactly like that to make an example, so that even the dumbest follower of Prigoshin got the message. Poisoning people's underwear is just too subtle for that type of matter.

From the video of the crash you can see that the plane crashed because it lost its left wing. I assume the pilot's job was to hold on to the left wing and the co-pilot's to hold on to the right one. When the captain lost his grip things happened so fast nobody had time to react before it was too late.

On a more serious note. I was once invited into the cockpit of a 737. The pilot, who by sheer coincidence happened to be my cousin, showed me how he and the co-pilot essentially didn't fly the plane at all. They were mainly keeping an eye on the autopilot in case it started to get weird ideas. They made some minor adjustments and of course kept communicating with air traffic control but it was only during landing they actually controlled the plane manually.
Even if both pilots had passed out or away mid flight, the plane wouldn't have crashed right away. It would have kept flying until it reached it's desitnation and only then would there have been some serious issues to sort out.

I wasn't aware planes that look like fighter jets were used to transport passengers.

I'm 99.99% certain this is not footage of the crash that killed Prigozhin.

Note the keyword in the article title "believed", not "is".

Even the video title does not say "is". It says "appears" and "allegedly".

There are passenger jets that look simliar to modern jet fighters. If I was flying over Russia right now, I would not want to ride in an old prop plane.

EDIT: I Googled the plane Prigozhin was in. An Embraer Praetor.
