I've mostly enjoyed my time so far with Cyberpunk 2077. I figured the game was going to be a disaster on release and wasn't planning to buy it for several months at least. Then I saw Google was offering a bundle of a Chromecast Ultra, wireless Stadia controller, and the game, just for the price of the game. I figured, why not? No regrets. I filed it under "Christmas presents I wasn't planning to get and therefore pleasantly surprised myself."

The game plays quite well over Stadia, both on PC and the Chromecast hooked up to the big-screen TV. There's noticeable compression artifacts at times, especially with all the red UI text, but most of the time it's acceptable. Hoo-boy is the game buggy as hell, though. Fun, but buggy.

For now I'm playing the game while I exercise on my stationary bike. It's a good way to pass the time. I don't know if I'll ever buy any more games through Stadia, but for now I'm not against the idea.
