I've had a heinously bad track record with quora providing anything even remotely similar to an informed or accurate answer to anything.

Quora is an utter pile of garbage nowadays, because there is no moderation and it is flooded with dumb questions like "Why are Russian aircraft carriers superior to the American ones, and when will America close that gap?", "Why do women not wear slips under a skirt in summer", "Why do people still view Putin as aggressor in the Ukraine war despite there is now evident he is not" and so on. Period.

Yeah, probably... while there is also a lot of dumb stuff around with America as topic, only god knows how much of this is "Made in America" and not crafted by Putin's troll army.

You know, stuff like "Why are Europeans jealous about the American way of life?", "Why is America the greatest country on the planet?", "Why are French jealous about American fast food?", "How comes so many people fail to recognize that the Mexican border wall protects us greatly from rapists and criminals?" and so on.

Trump and his band of asslicking sycophants alone is a more than big enough source of dumb questions as well.

I never used Quora. any time it popped up when I was googling a question I figured it was likely something absurd, which it always was. At best it's full of trolls joking around. At it's worst, it's disinformation bots.
