I just found out Les Horribles Cernettes put out a new song this past May! That's wild.

They are a group of women who worked together at CERN. They were either filk or filk-adjacent, back in the 80s and early 90s, performing at things like Nobel prize celebrations. Tim Berners-Lee made them famous by making a photo of them the first photograph on the internet, back in 1992.

I just discovered that the full, official music video for 2 Legit 2 Quit was almost 15 minutes long, featured cameos by people like Easy E and Milli Vanilli, and features James Brown shooting MC Hammer with fireballs, to imbue him with his powers of super legitimacy, thereby making MC Hammer 2 legit 2 quit, in order to bring James Brown 'the glove'! It's like an MCU origin story.
