Yeah, I mean, I have no problem with passes, I have bought many for both Fortnite and Sky.

I donwish more were like what (apparently) Halo Infinite does, where you buy the pass, but have unlimited time to finish it. Much less predatory.

And I have nonreal problem with buying skins and items in games. I mean, have you seen Second Life? And I have bought probably a dozen or more in the Fortnite shop.

But OW2's stuff is just waaaay too expensive and the pass system totally breaks because the game is hero based. So maybe you never play half the heores, half the pass is useless to you. Maybe you favorite hero is the level 80 tier skin now you have to geind grind grind playing daily to even have a chance for that thing you paid for, or its gone forever.

The gameplay itself is still rough too, or it was when I left. 9/10 games are one sided steamroll rounds, which is no fun, win OR lose. They pushed the dumb robot escort maps waaaay too hard at the begenning, because those maps are the worst.

Well I have no problem with BPs either, if the value you do get for the money is justified. With Fortnite this is the case, also the quality of skins and pricing is pretty decent as well. John Wick and other stuff, they had some real nice collaborations.

Compare that to OW2, and you'll see that this battle pass is just a stinking cash grab for a totally unfun game.

I'm sucked into the Blizzard suckhole with Diablo IV. It's been out for 3 seasons now, but in my opinion the seasonal special (a little spider bot) is worthless. And they added #$&^ traps, some overlapping so you can't escape. I liked season 2 better when we got gems (hearts) that could auto-fire spells.

As evidence of my gullibility with anything game related, I offer my Season Pass- enhanced necromancer. It's just cosmetics. The reality is that I suck at this game

I was very late to the Cyberpunk 2077 party because I was so hugely disappointed that it was only first person perspective and I really don't like that. A friend bought the game for me at the beginning of December to make me play it and stop complaining. And I played it almost obsessively for two months and now I've quietened down. Bloody hell, it's the best game I have ever played. I might finally have exhausted the content except for a few scraps hidden here and there.

I'm not normally into 'driving games' but I really just loved how the motorcycle handled in Cyberpunk 2077. "Oh, that next quest is on the -far- side of the entire map? No problem Vrroooom.... HONK HONK!" I got really good at threading traffic and offroading. Still had some pretty spectacular accidents... flying off freeway ramps, etc.

I haven't finished the Phantom Liberty expansion yet, kinda fell into option paralysis when rebuilding my netrunner and got distracted by Diablo4 and Last Epoch

I'm finishing up Lost Judgment soon, and I just bought the Tomb Raider Remastered pack that just came out. It's the first three TR games, as in from the 90's, with like a graphical reskin. I'll be playing them next.

I've played all of the older games from TR 4 onwards; and I've played TR Anniversary, which is like a total reboot of the first game on a new more modern engine. But of the actual original games before 4 I have only ever played (most of) the first one.

I go through phases with the Sims 4. I just got the horse ranch expansion on sale so I will play with that (though I am still annoyed they stripped horses out of Pets and made it Cats & Dogs). I am also playing the multiplayer mod with my partner - it works fairly well with some quirks. I hope the Sims 5 does have legit co op in it. For some reason the weirdos in the Sims forum freak the fuck out if you even hint at wanting multiplayer, but it sorely needs it. Not a full on MMO like The Sims Online was, but collaborative coop with friends would be nice.

The Whicked Whims mod also added some life to The Sims 4 for me. Truth be told I become obsessed with making my Sim have sex with everybody lol. It is an incredible detailed mod - it surprises me how many options it has. There is also the corresponding wonderful whims which has a lot of the features without the emphasis on sex. It is incredible what mods can do for the Sims 4.

STONKS 9800 - Stock Market Simulator



This is what i am playing currently ...and Early Access game where you simulate being 80's 90's 2000 's Japanese millionaire:

Right now is on Early access so you can do "Free Play" which basically starts you from zero on stock trades or CEO mode where you can start the game already with your own company.

With an anime 80's look this game allows you more than just buying and sell stocks. You can buy houses and get rent, buy cars, create and manage your own company that is also publically traded, you make connections, inside trading, deal with Yakuza and lot more ...lots of mini games and of course...you can go on "night walks" with your secretary developing what seems as far it goes a friendly platonic relationship. There will be Story Mode which will be the main mode but that seems to be the final addition.

As far stock trading simulator go it is probably not that evolved...you buy and sells stock...you can short and get dividends but the game is more than the stock simulation...sometimes too random but i recommend it

I have had several Fallout 4 + DLC games going over the last few years, with the only problems being the ones I introduced by over-modding. I got that fixed finally and what happens? Bethesda brings out their "Next Gen" update with tons of features, but which breaks the one fundamental mod utility "F4SE" which allows OTHER mods to add new animations and other stuff.

By breaking that mod and doing the update on Steam like you have no choice, millions of Fallout mods around the world (including mine) suddenly refuse to run.

I can either rollback the update or just wait for someone to post an updated F4SE. I have too many new games in queue to take the time to fix what Bethesda destroyed.

SKSE for Skyrim is also broken. I only checked a couple of days ago because I wanted to go back to my Survival mode Fallout 4 game after playing to much Cyberpunk 2077. I found that F4SE was broken so tried Skyrim. Oops. So I was forced to start another CP2077 game.

I'm trying to make a bargain with Diablo IV (eg, in my head) to sidestep my usual arc of gameplay.

My usual arc:
1. Start gangbusters. Make level 20 in a day. "Best game of my life, I found my home"
2. Bugs (or else my own mistakes) dim the glow. I soldier on.
3. Game publisher drastically changes the game and invalidates my favorite build.
4. Had a bad day in general. Fuck games. Fuck this one in particular.
5. Oops, it's been a bad week. Where was I?
6. Oh, look! A shiny new game!

Rinse. Repeat.

I went ahead with Season 4 (Diablo IV) and my new necro, the one I really wasn't going to start, is level 29+, got my pet Golem and I've just been doing nothing but random Helltides and an occasional dungeon for the Obols. I don't group anyway, which is how I want it.

I have no goals. I have no purpose. I'm a student of Death and my only purpose is to hasten Evil's journey to the cold grey realm. That's the bargain.

I griped plenty already about the way Bethesda handled the release of their last Fallout 4 update, which arbitrarily and completely invalidated all 200 mods I was running.

The "easy" solution is to rollback to the pre-update version, and both Steam and GOG.com offer remedies.

The Fallout: London mod is free to download. I am not sure, however, that I have the stamina and desire to rebuild my base FO4, even with a new DLC.

I am addicted to this free to play game, Asphalt Legends Unite. It is a total cash grab (I don't want to talk about how much I've spent), but I do really enjoy the series as a car enthusiast. It is also cross play between PC and iPad, so i can get a race in or two when I can't sleep.

Its why Ive had my FO4 and original Skyrim games sitting on ice for the last few years. Both have been modded to within an inch of their lives, and I love my mods so much. Don't want to muck up my FO4 settlements, so they sit there in limbo forever.

I've been playing Nightingale for a while now, which is still early release and content still needs to be added, but I enjoy that. Its great for those who love building and crafting, and it's a beautiful steampunk-styled universe.
Sons of the Forest is a lot of fun with friends, and its another buildy/explorey/survivey world.
