For the past few weeks, the two main games I've been playing are Spiderman on PS4 and Shadow of The Tomb Raider on the XB1. I was completely addicted to Spiderman for awhile - it's an incredibly well done game. The developers really nailed it this time - most games of its kind have been terrible.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider is excellent, though there have been a few portions that have made me want to throw my controller at the screen in frustration. I am enjoying the story though - it is shockingly self-aware. Lara Croft is a selfish asshole and a serial killer who runs around stealing ancient treasures. I'm ok with that.

I was playing the new WoW expansion for a bit but I lost steam in it. After a brief kick with LOTRO again , my main MMO fix has been ESO. I am absolutely loving the Summerset expansion. I didn't really like the Morrowind one. ESO has evolved into an incredible game - I think it is the best MMO on the market right now overall.

October is a big month for games. Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Forza Horizon 4 and Red Dead Redemption 2 all come out (AC and FH4 also launch early). Headstart for Maplestory 2 is soon also. God, I own too many games.

WoW and EVE. I have been looking at reactivating FFXIV for some time (if I can recover my account). As an alternative I've also considered ESO.
With WoW, I am wondering whether to hold off resubbing until 8.1 comes out.
EVE is the constant.

Slay the Spire, pretty much to the exclusion of all else, for several months now. Took me ages to get a (non-daily climb) win. Finally broke my duck a few weeks ago and quickly racked up wins on all characters. Now I'm stuck on Ironclad ascension 3.

ESO was oddly a miss with me like Skyrim as felt very detached, then again, FFXIV was that for me as well but did renew it recently and found the plot this time (yep, first time around I was very confused). Soooo... mainly playing this and LOL because I am refusing to finish Mass Effect Andromeda as it turned out to be a very nice and immersive game (months of content, yep). I did play SWtOR but on a break due to burnout for now, however this is my favourite MMO as it has absolutely excellent plot lines that do not need background lore to understand.

The other day I played some Red Dead Redemption. It still holds up gameplay wise and pretty much graphically with the Xbox One X enhancements turned on but I'm sure that RDR 2 will look even better.

I started on ESO again on PC and got the Summerset expansion but not expected to play it a lot. I'll play it till the month's sub runs out and then decided if I'm going to resub. Probably won't but we'll see.

Played a good bit of Shadow of the Tomb Raider on Xbox One X. Usually I'll play one of the recent Tomb Raider games till about halfway through the game then not play it for several months. Probably will do the same here.

Played a few hours of Spiderman on the PS4. It's good but to me, so far, it feels like there is something missing but maybe it'll feel better to me if I come back to it sometime later.

For Forza Horizon 4 I may just play the game through Xbox Game Pass at the start and then maybe buy one of the editions later

I do plan on getting both Assassin's Creed Odyssey and Red Dead Redemption 2. Both of those come out in October. I have already pre-ordered RDR 2.

I also have too many damn games.

Guild Wars 2. Even though it went ftp for the basic level I have 3 at the paid level (1 with the expansions). That sounds strange but there is a logic to it: with paid accounts you get daily login bonuses, some of those you can sell on the marketplace.

I actually just replayed Mass Effect 1 because Giant Bomb's Alex Navarro is doing a feature where he plays through it for the first time. Finished it up yesterday, it's still pretty good. Combat sucks, but once you get enough abilities you're just running around with Wrex and Garrus blowing fools up and there's no better time in video games.

Rather than jump straight into Mass Effect 2 I decided to pick up Crosscode since that finally released. It's pretty good! I love how they handle the silent protagonist (making fun of it and it being as big an annoyance to the character as it is to me) and the combat is fun. I suck at twin stick shooters but once I switched to keyboard and mouse it all clicked a lot better.

... so to speak. The game is probably going to give me an RSI.

I've been sucked into My Time at Portia. It's sort of like Stardew Valley but funner. It still has a beta/alpha vibe but it has me going.. 'one more day then I'll sleep..'

Skyrim, like, forever, but I also picked up The Witcher III, which I didn't get into. In October, I'm looking forward to Assassin's Creed Odyssey. The game I'm really looking forward to later is Cyberpunk 2077.

How recently were you there? In the past couple of years they added 2 expansions, flying, mounts, oodles of new maps, more to the story, raids, etc .....

i'm trying really hard not to spend money... Currently Spending more time on SL doing side projects to get a store up and running...

I started Up Assassin Creed syndicate to finish the main storyline so i can jump on.

FFIX acount is currently inactive but i might re-activate it for new content that came out..( all my discord friends abandoned me for Diablo update so i'm trying to make do with the small casual guild which are not EST friendly.. or so end game they can't really help)

cant wait for Froza...

i still want a switch but life is too busy at the moment to save for it.. -.-

I am always behind the times. I just finished GTA V. Well, finished is a relative term. I am stuck at 98.8% because I just cannot get the hang of airplane flying. I finally finished the flight school and for the life of me cannot complete those knife stunts that are required for 100%.

I am around halfway through Bioshock Infinite. I had started it years ago and put it down. This time around I am enjoying it.

I just finished a short choices matter/point & click/visual novel (not sure what category to put it in) called The Lion's Song. It's a 4 part story of a composer, a painter and a female mathematician (and assorted friends/family members) in Pre-WWI Vienna. Your choices do actually affect the ongoing story. It's short but very unique.

Playing old games is a great way for saving money. I just got Dungeon Keeper 1 + 2 on GOG this weekend.

I shouldn't be playing anything as I have a bunch of courses I need to finish. Buuuut....I got really addicted to FarCry Primal and might try to 100% it on xbone. I'm also newly on the Destiny 2 hype train on PS4 and picked up Wildlands on xbone.

Seeing as it is almost holiday season I'm sure there will be login stuff I will need in a lot of mmos. Oh and so many new games still to come out...Maplestory2 on 10/1! Then Red Dead Redemption 2, AC Odyssey and then Anthem and Division 2. *sighs* Guess my courses aren't going anywhere.
