She has an unusual style that sometimes I'm not caught by, but this song seems to work on me. Visuals in the video are also pretty cool.

Had this pop up on my radio when I was in the car this morning. It's been a loooong time since I I last heard it. Fantastic lyrics.

(Then Coconut came on afterwards, and my trip was complete.)

Sometimes an older song comes on that you haven’t listened to in years and you sing along, remembering almost every word, but then the real meaning hits you. Or you just a different perspective on the lyrics/style of music. Anyway, I love it when I hear something come on unexpectedly that I haven’t thought about in ages.

(I knew this one was about Marvin Gaye, just making a general comment)

Also, I’ll take your Coconut ditty that I love and give you some Billy Joel, cause I’ve singing this in my head all week.

I often feel very lonely over Thanksgiving and Xmas. This year especially now that Annie left last January. What else to do but play some music. Here are some favorites I've found over the last few years.

Cool song, but the auto-tuning...

Lately I have taken a weord interest in Ben Folds. He seems like an interesting dude and he has a bunch of neat Youtube Videos where he just chats with various creative types about being creative.

But, while I do enjoy most of it, I just can't get into a lot of his music.

Yeah, its not clear if its there or just heavily produced but in general, I find I prefer the older, more, raw Aurora to the newer stuff. Gods We Can Touch as a whole was not as good as the previous albums, IMO because it was much more "poppy" in sound and less emotional in tone overall. All My Demons is still the best album.
