For decades I thought the song below was an original from Melissa Manchester. It is from her first album. I love it so much. It has such a drive to it. I found out this evening it was actually from Stevie Wonder. There versions are quite different so it is hard to compare but I like hers better. She sure had a thing for Stevie Wonder though. She has another song on that album, Stevie's Wonder.

Then her song Midnight Blue was the chart topper and she seemed to have followed that (somewhat boring to me) path in her future albums. Oh well.

I just discovered WRTC out of Hartford CT. They have blocks of music, for instance, they are now playing a rock block. This includes 6 songs in a row from the Grateful Dead, A song from a band I am unfamiliar with called Chronic Law doing a song named NY girls recorded this year, and something from Meredith Monk called Volcano Songs.

Later today they are having gospel, world and a drum mix show. Quite a variety.
