Back in 1967 (??), Michelle Phillips protested having to lip sync on the Ed Sullivan show by eating half a banana during California Dreamin' when she was supposed to be "singing."

Aside from that, I can't recall a band looking less like they wanted to be making a video. Maybe this was made during yet another of their Peaved Periods. Great tune, though.

Possibly because the song was written by Trevor Rabin while sitting on a toilet. My favorite video of theirs will always be Leave It, and for that they basically just stand at attention through the whole thing.

Me, too 80’s!

I finally found, after years of searching and only one line of lyrics I could remember, the first song I slow danced to when I was 13. And omg ha ha the lyrics. It’s supposed to be about absentee fathers or something, but anyway, weird I was swaying to it with my arms wrapped around a much older shaved-head punk at a basement party.

The lyrics I could only recall we’re “Come to daddy, come on.”
