second life What’s the latest on SL Viewer Options?

I have been using the Catznip R12 viewer - simply because its the only one that will run on my old laptop - the graphics on other versions are too ''heavy'' for my pc, and I've had to opt out of updating / upgrading.
Anyone else use this?

Catznip is my day to day viewer for a long time now.
Near enough to the official viewer but with some added features that i couldn’t live without anymore.

I only use it when I want (and am allowed) to get out of a permanently sealed outfit, like for example the CC Drone Suit.

I use Firestorm and a UI setup/settings that I rarely change except for storing a few rendering settings. Since I joined Ballet Pixelle a few years ago, muscle memory wins the day for all the little things that need speed and accuracy for dance rehearsal and performances. Ditto for stable media settings so my music doesn't lag. I'm slowly experimenting with changing a few settings to get the best performance and still be able to people watch some recently which is an old favorite pastime I've neglected for a while. My PC can run 2 firestorm viewers, a browser and photoshop so I can be in SL and Kitely sometimes at the same time.

The ones that i can't live without anymore ?

The ability to have a preview for an image when i hover my mouse over the link.
Various features in the way Catznip handles groups, like that i can specify in the group menu if or if not i want to receive groupchat at all.
Some added features converning chat, the ability to put a chatwindow to "sleep" for example.
The way the mini-map has been altered to show parcels on it. Also it marks parcels i can't enter for whatever reason.
And the modifications Kitty put in the way inventory is handled, that i can sort inventory in a much more refined way or search for an item in a much more precise way.

There are many more differences to the official viewer, these are just the most obvious, and important ones for me.
