AFAIK, he was actually sentenced because he distributed distributing sexual deep fake videos that showed a Korean social media influencer.

This dipshit also made the mistake of appealing his six-month prison sentence (which many considered too lenient). This means he'll have to wait at least five months for the new trial to be scheduled, while being stuck in detention, which has worse conditions than prison. It'll now take at least a year before he gets out again.
